Mobile Devices New Target For Hackers
The security company McAfee says your cell phone will be the big target of scam artists in 2012.
"They can put it into your device, and while you're doing a banking transaction, it could step in, capture the transaction, then take control of your bank and drain all of your money," Davis says.
Another trend expected in 2012 is a mash-up between the occupiers and high-tech hackers. McAfee calls it the rise of the "hacktivist."
"Hacktivists may take a major bank, do a denial of service attack for like an hour, while the occupiers are surrounding the bank and picketing," Davis says. "So we'll see more coordinated efforts between both the physical and the virtual, though hacktivism."

(829 posts)If you've ever done business with them they will charge your card until you invalidate the card or call them and demand they stop. They don't care if they actually provide service. I know many people who have been ripped off for hundreds of dollars by this company.
Also they make the second worst antivirus product on the market (the worst being Symantec).
I would not be surprised if they were secretly distributing viruses themselves to keep the business model going.
