That's all he cares about. how HE looks. How his base sees him. He constantly has to feign 'winning'. But they are all hollow victories. No one wins.

It's all about how he can sell his position. There's no negotiating here. It's all Trump whining and ranting that he wants wall, wall is all, wall for me or I will bawl. The nincompoops in the Senate Republican caucus try to get him off his position, but that's not possible; just more ranting and whining. It's really clear really quickly that this meeting was designed to get the Senate Republicans to dismiss reality and substitute Trump's delusion.

When you look in the mirror, Senate Republicans, you should see a whole package of Charms Blow-Pops, because you're a bunch of suckers.
