Lindsey Graham predicts a "terrible 2019" if Dems don't "work with" Trump in the next 11 days

"The Democrats hate Trump so much that they don't want him to succeed, even if working with him would be good for the country."

MSNBC is playing the clip.

Says that if there is no group hug in the next 11 days, Trump is screwed (no, that's not an exact quote, just the gist).

Somehow, I do not see Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer huddling to find ways to make Trump look good in the next 11 days.

It's more than the Trump Administration. It's Republicans blocking any legislation that Obama proposed. I've had it since 2009. Ten years is enough bullshit.

to bail the GOP out of their toxic disaster. This is their creation, the hardened sludge in the bottom of their crucible.

The ONLY way I see Democrats even entertaining giving funding for this wall is if trump and his ilk agree to give some SERIOUS concessions. Like universal basic income, DACA, and single payer healthcare, and blanket amnesty for all existing undocumented persons all wrapped into one bill in exchange for 2 Bn in funding for a modest fence instead of a wall.

Short of that, no chance. Since the Dems have more leverage now, trump potentially offering DACA in exchange for full funding for the wall would be majorly inadequate IMO.
