Laurence Tribe: "I avoid saying shame on Trump becuz he has no shame"...but Republican Senators, WTF

I avoid saying shame on Trump becuz he has no shame, no superego at all, only ego and what passes for id. But lots of Republican Senators do have superegos and evidently can feel shame, so WTF is it with them?? Have they no life outside public office? So I agree with @waltshaub

Shaub's tweet:

The state of the union is a chaotic mess tilting toward destruction. We are living out Trump’s personal dysfunction. Shame on members of Congress who privately confess they know Trump is a grave threat to the nation but who lack courage to stand up to him. Shame on them!

Shaub was commenting on this tweet from editor/columnist Virginia Heffernan

This seems pretty grave.

who was commenting on this tweet from WaPo's Alex Horton, formerly with Stars and Stripes:

Marines in Afghanistan ask the USMC commandant what the drawdown means for them: “the honest answer is I have no idea,” he told them.

Navy secretary on drawdown orders and guidance from the White House: “Nothing formal, just tweets.” via @bkesling

But there's no way Trump does it in an orderly or competent fashion. "The retreat became a rout" will be the story, and a lot of people will die because of it.
