We walked across the local river yesterday - frozen solid! I love this time of year. 4 1/2' of standing snow, flurries, crisply cold (about 23 below today), sled dog pups on the river with their very-owned people on sleds, baying up a storm - and since we're down to 3 1/2 hours of daylight, aurora all the time!
