to watch the early space launches. It's amazing to think that it was almost just 7 1/2 years after John Glenn went up that we landed on the moon.

(23,356 posts)...when we elected Nixon--and it's mostly gone downhill ever since. With a few pleasant interludes, to be sure, but....Nixon, Reagun, the Bushes, Gingrich, the Clinton impeachment, a couple wars, Tea Party, Individual 1......and that's where we're at.)

And when we listen to fools and those of us who speak of crazed plans that take us in the wrong direction we should be able to push them aside. We ended up in this state and come next month we strt on getting out of it.
