(297,188 posts)in New Jersey who told the First Grade class that there was no Santa, Easter bunny or Tooth Fairy.
The principle, superintendent, and the parents were all upset as were the kids.
It wasn't her damn job to tell them that.

(297,188 posts)about it.. he thought it was outrageous! And, he's not even into Christmas that much.
Thought it was the parents' job and/or kids can figure that out on their own.

(5,128 posts)The over-under is too hard to guess, but if my dad loaned me $400M, I'd bet the kid does still think the old man in the suit brings him gifts for being "Nice." Sucker. I would win that bet, believe me.

I am sure he doesn't realize it because he is obsessed with his "hair".... certainly more than he cares about that 7 year old child or any of us....

(6,110 posts)Even worse, there were no Christmas gifts. Everything had to be "earned".
In 9th grade I did not finish in top 10% of class, and my mean mom took
away all my pocket allowance.
But that rough childhood taught me to be self-reliant and did alright in adulthood.

I'm glad you survived! Hah
