Interesting article about how no one really wanted to know whether vote tallies were changed in 2016

https://www.theroot.com/evidence-shows-hackers-changed-votes-in-the-2016-electi-1827871206

"There is no definitive proof votes were altered in the 2016 election. Full stop.

But there’s even more we don’t know.

“We truly do not know, and we are making no attempt to find out,” Marks reiterated. “It’s because we don’t want to find out. And it’s not Robert Mueller’s responsibility. It’s not Congress’ responsibility. It’s the responsibility of the people. It’s the responsibility of the press.” "

Seems we are just burying our collective heads in the sand. Seems hazardous.

It's worth the extra time, etc. And we keep copies. I haven't missed a local, borough, state or national vote since 1972. The files get thick and can be stored, but we CAN'T QUIT. The "liberal" press is no more, owned by corporations since about 1995.

if you think the Russians stopped their hacking at the election, I have ocean front property for sale in Arizona. They hacked everything they could, why stop at the final election?

than keep bugging our congress folks? Wyden is mine and he is all over this but with GOP in control can't do anything. Bet Adam Schiff does though.

When it works, it works. When it's defrayed or defeated, it doesn't.

It is our greatest national asset, our primary resource, our most important weapon against all enemies foreign and domestic. To treat it as an afterthought is to court death and disaster.

and backed out quietly without touching a thing.

Of course votes were changed. We know they were in the systems. Of course they changed votes.

I bet most people know about hacking the DNC. I bet only a few know about hacking the voting systems of several states. Why? Because hacking the enemy (Dem party) is ok, while hacking voting systems is a direct assault on the public you are trying to win over. Now, taking that into consideration, exactly who is telling the MSM not to be too loud about Russian hacking?

Christmas conspiracy, I know...

the GOP vote suppressors, gerrymanderers, and power grabbers in WI, MI, NC, and others have wayyy too much respect for representative government and the electoral process to even think of helping some Russian or other far-off hackers gain access to the vote tabulators in their states in order to help them "win" elections.
