(81,261 posts)enroute to exotic locations overseas is hard work. I bet shes never broken a sweat (except in some private luxury workout session maybe), or had to put in overtime or stay at the office after the rest of the family enjoys a rich dinner of first class food served by people toward whom they feel superior.
Just a guess.

(21,635 posts)I was skeptical at first, after a fairly negative overall experience with Sam's Club. But I joined Costco 15 years ago, and have been happy I did ever since.
Never tried their food court though. Seems pretty popular; maybe I'm missing out.

(1,975 posts)Friends and coworkers who've joined Costco are happy with it. Just the two of us and the furbabies, so we don't buy much in bulk - except flour, sugar, yeast, etc. But with this story? We'll join just because!

I'm sure a lot of them see things differently now.

(22,252 posts)canned chicken breast, mushrooms and always keep them on hand.
I make this a LOT :
Pantry Soup
1 can Kirkland canned chicken breast,
1 can chicken broth
1 can Ro-Tel
1 can black beans (rinsed and drained)
seasonings to your taste (I use chili powder and cumin)
Simmer to allow flavors to blend
Add a big handful of frozen corn and cook until corn is done
Makes 4 good servings
Zero Weight Watchers Points for those who care about such things.
Kirkland Canned Chicken breast is great for soup, chicken and dumplings, casseroles, chicken salad and enchiladas If it needs to be drained, I save the broth in a ziplock in the freezer for those times I need a small amount of chicken broth.
We also get big bags of walnuts, and cocoa when they have it in bulk ( it is really good cocoa!! )

What kind of father would let himself be caught dead joking about a thing like that. Caligula, party of one.

Hey Vonkers, aren't you supposedly there to stop your daddy from doing stupid things? Isn't that your "job"? Based on how much you SUCK at your "job", pardon me if I pass on your fascinating observations.
