Gov. Snyder vetoes GOP power grab, Dark Money bills, but signs bill to make statewide

ballot drives more difficult. Of course, The bill was passed with only Republican votes and will require that no more than 15 percent of signatures gathered come from any one of the state's 14 congressional districts. The GOP supported the bill, saying it will increase participation from across the state. But Democrats opposed the bill, saying that it will disenfranchise voters whose signatures won't count if the fall beyond the 15 percent threshold. He just couldn't help being a dictatorial asshole one last time. I think he really does hate the democratic process. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I was surprised he vetoed the bill outlawing prescribing abortion meds by video, though. He signed a supplemental spending bill of more than $1B, one of the largest in state history.

with "distribution Requirements" (at least 2% of voters in each state senate district).

Except here it was pushed by Democrats and opposed by Republicans. Luckily a judge tossed it out as blatantly unconstitutional.
