On my phone, as of yesterday, the first link is now a stand with romney ad. Has anyone else noticed this?

But on my android with verizon I now get that ad as of yesterday. No big deal, but I have fat finger disease when texting, and I hate the thought of ever hitting the ad. Lol

7. Did you by any chance save the URL that that ad linked to?

If they're using "Democratic Underground' in their Google adwords or they have that phrase in the meta-data of that page, DU may have a trademark infringement case against them.

and now it is gone! I kid you not. All day and yesterday it was there, and poof, after reading your question it is gone. BTW I am on my imac now.

I never actually hit the ad link, it simply began appearing for the first time yesterday and was simply a nuisance.

10. If you run into it again from doing a Google search on "Democratic Underground"

maybe you should click it and save the URL that it leads to.

Although, to be fair, they may be simply keying it on the word "democratic".
