I'm not saying this with the intent of pointing out what a swell guy I am. The reason I'm posting is that PP has a 2:1 match going on until midnight tonight. If you give, say, $10 (the minimum), someone out there will match you twice over. Your $10 contribution ends up being a $30 contribution. Tomorrow, the matching goes away.
I'm alive, I'm in good health, I have (some) sanity -- more than a certain someone I can think of -- my IRA is still there, and I made a little money on some stock I bought a few weeks ago. Not everyone can say that.
So why not?

(1,975 posts)I think they've been at it about 6 years now. Probably just to give their members something to do since most are unemployed, on welfare, and still contributing 20% to the maniac who runs it.
OF COURSE I contributed! And I don't feel in the least sorry for idiot picketers who are out there at 20 below.
