I haven't watched those Sunday "news" shows in years, because they are the epitome of "inside the Beltway" news agencies.
They are cut off from the rest of the country, and cut off from reality.
Just look here how those "news" shows let Rmoney's goons lie through their teeth.

(1,448 posts)fake examination of the issues. Maybe we could get to the truth if real reporters earned about $30 per hour.

(11,366 posts)The average pay for a journalist is between $25,000 and $30,000. That's why so many good reporters leave the profession. When they have children, they have to take their communications degrees and go into something that pays - like PR or marketing.

(17,598 posts)i used to watch them every Sunday. Then they turned right and started stupid repug talking points for their entire shows with an occasional Democrat token. I stopped watching and have stuck to it.
Haven't been able to watch them for a long. Just have no interest, none at all.

I used to be a Sunday talk show junkie. Now I can't stand to watch.

(65,342 posts)incident at some reception when Russert approached W, giggled, and turned over his lapel to show a "W" campaign button on the underside.
He was persuaded by the big bucks to go right.

(9,314 posts)I watched Meet the Press for decades, but can't handle it since David Gregory became the moderator. I can't even tune in for the segments which feature Democrats like my Governor, O'Malley, who I truly admire, that is how much distance I feel I have to keep between Gregory and me. I would have thought he would have been replaced by now, but he must have friends in high places.
But the long and the short of it is, I don't watch any of them and that used to be a regular routine for me.

(28,936 posts)the fact that Romney paid only 13% in taxes or LESS. They could have wasted Grover Norquist in one swift blow by bringing up Romney's taxes. Someone was asleep at the wheel!
