Seems she would be a natural target for that sort of thing.

to some vibe-class of phenomena, kind of like the Bible.

Meaning is pretty much a 50:50 proposition with such things, but knowing more about the originator of a word-artifact, while not determinative, can be instructive.

That cartoon is right - Ayn Rand would never approve of Ryan's stance on many issues.

Even her most sincere followers would find they had to break with her on something. And then she was pissed off and ended the friendship. She was always "right" in her mind, since whatever she thought was "objective truth." Thus you could disagree on one thing and end of out of favor.

I can only imagine the battles that must be waged in their psyche between JC & AR. Kinda like that scene from Animal House with the devil & the angel.
"Feed the poor."
"Nah, screw em!"
"Heal the sick."
"Let em die!"

The words in red in the bible have no place in their hearts, minds, or souls.

They are self-satisfied, superior-minded, selfish charlatans.

The cult of the self is diametrically opposed to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

I was introduced forcefully to her philosophy by another author who had a born again Rand experience.

Funny thing though- he copied her except for her interesting sexual quirks. Those were "amoral." I bet the venomous old bitch would have had a cow if she were still alive.

Even better moment- true objectivism negates her philosophy. Said author figured that out and had to furiously backpedal while still pretending it was a solid plank to stand on.
