If he believes his own statement, I'm surprised Akin isn't objecting to this:

"If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down."

After all, the woman's own body is committing an abortion. Maybe next in the GOP's war on women agenda should be injecting all rape victims with drugs to stop spontaneous abortions.

After all, the GOP wants to reduce women back to the status of animated flowerpots, useful only for germinating man's seed and producing infants, with no civil rights, no vote, no hope.
