similarities tooo hard to ignore..

The Extreme Conservative republicans are the first to demonize Islam as a whole instead of vilifying only the most extreme aspects of those who practice that religion.

All the while the similarities to the beliefs of the extreme right in so many ways mirror the beliefs of extreme Islam.

A belief that women are lesser beings than men.

A belief that THEIR religion should be the ONLY religion taught.

A belief that THEIR religion should be fully intertwined with the politics of their countries..

Starting to sound familiar????

AND NOW we have Mr. Akin,I will not use his title as it is a title of respect,of which for him I have none.

Truly how far away is his belief from the beliefs that extreme Muslims have about rape???

It shouldn't be such a surprise. They stem from the same original ancient culture and religion. GreenPartyVoter Aug 2012 #1

are barking-at-the-moon nuts when looked at holistically. If you want to follow the things (supposedly) said by Jesus, fine and good on ya. The same message has been expressed by many philosophers over countless ages. There's nothing exclusively christian about it.

As Gandhi observed, "I like your Christ but I do not care much for your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ."

...it's hilarious that there's a move to ban Sharia law, when they pretty much want to enact it themselves.

Makes sense when you realize whenever you hear a RWer talking, they're lying...even to themselves at times.
