He was on NPR Morning Edition this AM, the interview is online, but not the transcript yet. Googling him has scattered bits of info. What I can find in several scattered semi wiki sites, he's 36, well spoken, cohetent until you realize his facile speech patterns are quality conservative pablum.
He was speaking about Steve King of Iowa blatent white nationalism

(102,361 posts)Once in a blue moon he states the "obvious," in a seemingly honest and articulate manner so he gets a pass from many.

(28,349 posts)He's on Morning Joe often. He reeks arrogance and smarmy. In looks and in attitude. I can't stand the twerp. For the most part, you can tell the others on the panel think pretty much the same as I do. His derisively smug self has nothing honest to offer.

(86,780 posts)I heard him, I was not happy that every morning the NPR news programs have taken to letting these liars lie without confronting them. They interrupt the sensible people to waste their time trying to get even part of what they have to say out. All I have is Internet and radio so I listen to NPR because there are no loud commercials or headbanger music.

(15,543 posts)He's subtle, but he's almost always slanted. He's a devious & dangerous mind wanker.

(102,361 posts)But, his attempts to be subtle are exposed when you compare the kinds of questions he has for RWers versus liberal/progressives.

(33,023 posts)I've listened to Morning Edition since the mid 90s(?!) on my way to work, and I can clearly recall a day listening to an interview with David Frum, and I could recall agreeing with a statement he made and as the time went by that day,I tealizied the logic fail. Rothman is carving out a similiar career path.
Hell with both of those guys
