Gallup Monthly Poll Drops Trump to 37% Approval to a Net Minus 22%

Gallup has changed their disclosure time from daily, to weekly to, now, monthly. Today's numbers are 37% approve and 59% disapprove. That's a net of minus 22% and a drop of a net 6 points since last month.

The longer this shutdown lasts, the further they will drop. Those who are in Trump's MAGA camp who have been locked out of their jobs due to the shutdown have a decision to make. Continue on the voyage on the USS TRUMPTANIC , or abandon ship. Your call people.

Trump's poll numbers will be in the low 30's to upper 20's by mid February if this continues. How they can stand by him and the Republicans is beyond comprehension.

3. Not sure this means anything, but....

a local MAGAt actually took down his Trump flag. This guy has been flying a Trump flag since 2016. He's replaced it several times as it has worn out. He put up a brand new one just before Christmas..... and now it is down.

I mean, I'm sure he is still a MAGAt, but it seems he's not so proud of it any more. I do think there is a subtle shift.
