The GOP is trying to nullify the midterm election.

3. It is about trying to nullify the midterm election
If the Republicans can compel the house to pass legislation they would otherwise oppose, the election was nearly irrelevant

But the second he heard that the shutdown was impeding the FBI's efforts, he was all over it. I believe he's going to pull this every time he gets thwarted. Right now, he's determined to highjack the airwaves on the 29th to deliver his fucking State of the (Dis)Union speech. He's attempting as I type this to force his way onto the House floor and nothing surprises me any longer where he's concerned. He needs to be removed. Any method works for me. It's a shame his mother didn't suffocate him at birth.

Trump will stoop to absolutely anything to remain in power. We cannot afford to be dense enough to look at 2020 from a traditional lens. The GOP is undertaking lowlife tactics right now that Rachel Maddow will be dissecting in mid 2021. That doesn't do us a damn bit of good.
