When the dust settles, SCOTUS theft matters most.

As the Trump/GOP crime family story takes another turn, I thought I’d feel happier and more relief.
But, all I can feel is anger and profound sadness at their biggest ill gotten gains.
Two members and conservative control of the Supreme Court.
The theft of Hillary’s presidency and possibly some Senate seats (like in Wisconsin) in some ways really pale in comparison to what McConnell and the Repubs pulled off in the SCOTUS.

And, no matter what happens to Trump or his family or any others, the reshaping of the SCOTUS was and is their greatest prize. And, there is nothing we can do about it.
Traitorous bastards they all are.

True. I think our only constitutional remedy is to add 4 more justices to the USSC to be appointed by the next Democratic president and who'll be easily confirmed by a filibuster-proof Democratic Senate.

Wasn't his son in the mix with far right dealings? The timing was a little too perfect - before mid-terms. No chance of a dem "Merrick Garland" move.

Kennedy, thru his son, could have gotten involved with the Trumpano (like Soprano) crime family.

Yea, his son? was put in charge of Trumps account when he was head loan officer at the ONLY bank that would lend money to Trump.
It was pretty well covered on Rachel last night when she was questioning how Trump got money from a bank that is under investigation by almost everybody for massive Russian money laundering. Daddy's resignation was a thank you to Trump for helping his son out at the bank, so that Trump could appoint a Justice that he wanted on the SCourt.

It has been documented in so many different ways how Trump was Laundering money for the Russians, and how he and the NRA and the Republican Senators were receiving campaign financing from the Russian oligarchs. (for instance, OConnell taking 5 Million in the recent past from the Russians for his campaign among others like Cruz and Graham)

The U.S. Republican Senators are going for broke trying to keep Trump in office because there are probably scores of them that have also taken money from the Russians. Trump would feed all of them to the wolves to cover his own ass and they all know and fear that.............

Mueller must have his hands full with this Republican corruption investigation going in so many directions. It certainly is interesting in just how the Russian money is in every facet of the corrupted Republican Politics.......

for personal gain to Trump, is that yet another crime? Could Dems then impeach and remove Kavanaugh?

To convict though they would need the Senate....this only works if Mueller indicts and forces out a few Republicans in the Senate, starting with McConnell, and maybe Dems convince a couple of waffly Reps to flip parties. Never say never. Some old Reps could die or step down for health reasons, retire early if Mueller starts going after Senators.

If there was even some trumped up bull shit republican would be "scandal" they would have screamed, and the media would have enabled it, that you can't confirm a SCJ when there is this kind of scandal hanging over the POTUS' head.

But, we have a POTUS who CLEARLY was in bed with Russia and they just slammed the picks through.
