I really like Julian Castro! (just on Hardball)

I think he's got an Obama quality - smart as hell, charming, his positions on issues are pretty-much in line with mine.

So, as I'm watching him on Hardball:

...I'm looking behind him and, if I'm not mistaken, that's a WinXP PC behind him:

Windows XP hasn't been supported (updated) by Microsoft since 2014. No security updates, nada.

Given what's been happening since the mid 2010's with Russian hacking, I *really* hope that PC is a stand-alone legacy box NOT connected to their network.

But I've still got some issues with him left over from 2016 so he will not be at the top of my list.

Sincerely curious, not attacking or baiting.

Castro is being overshadowed in the very early days of this race. I don't see him having much of a chance but I don't know a lot about his background except his HUD secretary stint and that Hillary didn't pick him as a running mate despite plenty of speculation that she would.

A lot of DU'ers have held the "nice guy but" attitude. I think it's a mistake to not consider him a top tier candidate.

and, he has government experience as Mayor of a large city in San Antonio and as HUD secretary.

He would generate excitement among Hispanic voters as well.
