Trump supporter 'shows up to library with gun' because drag queen was reading stories to children

A Donald Trump supporter reportedly armed with a gun barged into a Texas library in an attempt to stop a drag queen reading books to children.

James Greene was arrested on suspicion of trespassing after refusing to leave Houston’s Freed-Montrose Library, but claimed he was detained for being a "white Christian" and accused staff of satanism.

He had entered the building to protest against Drag Queen Storytime, a programme of events in which performers read children’s stories to families. The conservative radio host has previously been banned from the library for filming children during similar demonstrations.

Footage filmed by Mr Greene and posted on YouTube shows him remonstrating with police officers as they ask him to leave the building. Another clip shows him being handcuffed in the libary’s car park.

James “Doc” Green is a host for a radio show called “Raging Elephants.” He has already been warned to stay away from the library where Drag Queen Storytime puts on a show. He’s even been banned by the library from even being on the premises, but he just can’t help himself.

So, he “was detained, disarmed, and escorted out by police on Saturday, Jan. 26, for entering the building and refusing to leave.” It took seven police officers to remove him. He yelled at the librarian,“We have a bunch of homosexuals that are molesting children. They are doing it with your help.”

I don’t think he understands the whole drag queen thing. My 5 year old grandson has been to Drag Queen Storytime and he told me it
was “cool, because they wear costumes.” I’m proud to tell you that he “gets it.” Maybe he could explain that to Doc.

He wasn't arrested for threatening anyone with a gun, he was merely carrying one legally under Texas law. He actually wasn't arrested at all but escorted out because he was banned for his previous behavior of filming children and posting it online.

Adults move back to let the kids up front on 1st & 2nd Avenues, and the littlest get hoisted up not always by parents (it's a very kid-friendly parade).
