It makes me sick every time I hear him talk. Why should I make myself sick?

90% of what comes out of his mouth is either a lie, racist, self-serving, harms our country, or all of the above.

What could I possibly have to gain by watching ?

I already know what he's going to say:

Wall = Good

Pelosi = Bad

Me = Good

The economy is better than its ever been in the history of the universe and it's all because of me

Bad people are coming to get us and we have to spend $5B on Russian steel to protect us

No collusion.

There you go. now turn off the TV and listen to some music.... or do something to get ready for 2020.

It would take a year off my life to have to watch and listen to that monster speak.

1. I just discovered that Netflix now has season 2 of "Border Town,"

a very good mystery series. It's in Finnish with subtitles so I have to pay close attention (Finnish doesn't have any words I recognize). And so I can post on DU intermittently and not watch SOTU.

2. nice. have you seen "The Good Place" with Ted Danson?

this is the first TV series I have watched in 20+ years, except for maybe the Simpsons. I'm only on episode 6 but I really like it
