During Shrub's eight years, I had objected to about 80% of his SOTU content

His lies about Iraq, Afghanistan, the economy and his polices were pretty much trash. He definitely led the country down a dark path and his SOTU speeches explained both his faulty reasoning and poor decisions.

But, in spite of that, I never thought he disrespected his proper role as a guest speaker in The People’s House. He always stuck to protocol and he always showed due deference to the Office of the President, the Speaker and to Congress at those events.

I also had the feeling that, had he not followed proper procedures, he would have felt ashamed of himself.

Trump, on the other hand, feels no shame. He’s clearly a narcissistic sociopath with delusions of grandeur. His presentation tonight wasn’t about the country, it was all about himself.

What I saw tonight was atrocious and utterly disrespectful. It was a gawd damned circus. A mockery of the nation.

When he’s finally out of the White House, America is going to need an enema.

And all workers -- Trumpistas and regular human beings who work at the WH -- are going to want to take a bath in Purell, too.

It was a pretty impressive moment during his first SOTU address after the Democrats won control of the House and Senate.

Something like, "I have the honor of being the first president to say "Madam Speaker".

'Member when he knew the WTC attack was going to happen? We had so many threads on that, we needed a separate forum for it.

Comparing and contrasting bad with worse doesn't mean you believe bad got any better.

That's darkly amusing stuff.

He was a murdering racist geocidal maniac who was somehow going to be president for life.

I think the majority here legitimately believed that.
