MSNBC just reported that Justin Fairfax has just hired Brett Kavanaugh's lawyers for handling the sexual misconduct allegations.

So much deja vu.

Isn't that the same moral relativism you decried when it came to Joy Reid whose criticism of her by you I agreed with? BTW I'm not criticizing you as much as pointing out consistency in these matters is really hard.

This whole Fairfax-Tyson situation makes me distraught.

She told not a single, solitary soul about this until he was elected, not one. No other person has come forward with anything like this against him. The Washington Post investigated this, with her help, and found nothing, not a thing, to support her claim. So we now apparently have the rule, that some woman, and it apparently has to be a woman, comes forward 13 years after the fact, say so and so raped me, and no matter how many people voted for so and so, the people of that area instead gets the polar opposite. If this is going to be the rule then why bother having elections at all. If this works, I bet my governor will be next.

I know some Christo-fascist lover is going to rage on on me but so what! I will not betray my family. The four most important women and girls in my life live in Virginia, and I'll be damned if i'm willingly going to let them fall into a form of slavery at the hands of the fanatical Virginia Right-wingers. I'm disheartened by the scandals, but not enough to condemn minorities and women to what would gladly take over.

I grew up there, and watched the culture change even through the 80s and 90s - and it was still ugly despite what some claim. I can tell stories clean back to the late 90s of horrible behavior and outright racism.

If you're going to put their name in all caps, at least get it right.

NOW asserts that it always agrees with the narrative of any woman regarding sexual assault.

I’m certainly glad the criminal justice system isn’t structured like that.
