I most certainly do not deserve hearts...I mostly teeter on the precipice of banishment here

so I will simply say thanks for your donations to DU, a decidedly worthy recipient. I consider my role here to be that of gadfly, continually pushing the discussion to the left...the real, actual left. As such I am somewhat intolerant of the center, and for this I apologize.

I consider myself a Democratic Socialist and I feel welcomed here. There is room on DU for all of us.

Everyone here who isn’t a troll deserves hearts now.

except for the part about teetering on banishment. While I certainly appreciate them I would prefer that they be given to others more deserving.

While my philosophy is to the left of Bernie Sanders, I am also pragmatic in that I believe somethings are just not going to happen and others will take time to accomplish.
