There was an amendment passed that "outlawed booze" The "smart ones" thought that the U.S.A would be a much better place without booze. So they outlawed it. Now think back how stupid that must have been.
....But, what happened is as sure as people "will eat." People wanted to "drink booze" so they did it illegally. That went on for more than 10 years. There was an entire industry of producing, and selling and giving away illegal booze. That industry has been shown in many ways. Finally, after conceding that the amendment was a total failure, they found a way to do away with it. I believe that will happen with many so called "illegal drugs."
In many areas marijuana is now legal. States are making a lot of money on it. So, it was once illegal, and now it is legal.. We will see about the rest of them. Who knows?
