CNBC's Wilkie: The WH will regret not having a teleprompter and letting Trump take questions.

Tweet a couple of minutes ago from CNBC's Christina Wilkie:





I suspect the White House will dearly regret two things about how this event was planned: No teleprompter, and taking questions.

Neither of these had to happen. Trump could have easily spoken from a prompter and then said, "thank you very much," and gone inside.
