I live in a blue district in a blue state, so we don't get a lot of them here. But I was, of all places, at the VA Hospital getting a pre-op for a procedure later this week. When I got done, it was lunch time, so I went down to the cafe for a snack before the drive home. As I came up to the door, some guy in a wheelchair with a booted foot sticking straight out, weighing in at easily 300 pounds or so, popped into view from the side. I looked up and there it was, a genuine, original, first edition copy of a MAGA hat. All right red and looking brand new.
I didn't say anything. He was on wheels, so I stepped aside so he would pass through and get out of my way. I really don't understand why any veteran would support the Tangerine Terrorist, but they are out there. I ain't gonna waste any breath saying hi to them.

All about Might makes Right Bull Crap. The worst are those who are suffering with PTSD and do not know it. Or they had Lung and skin Cancers from Agent Orange.

(75 posts)At both the hospital and a clinic that is closer to me. I shoot it the bird every time. Usually hear a chuckle from any other vet who notices. Never seen a red hat at either place though, only the usual veteran pride hats.
