5. I kind of gave up on him when he interviewed that crackpot Jerome Corsi

and then kept re-running parts of the interview on subsequent programs as if Corsi was such a great "get." And then today he has that megadouche Matt Schlapp - had to change channels at that point. Another annoying thing is when he tries too hard to be the totally with-it guy with his rapper guests, kind of like the "cool" dad in the neighborhood who wants to hang with his teenage kids and their friends so he tries to talk about them about their favorite music but just comes across as clueless and dorky.

The point was Schlapp's saying that Barr was going to end the Special Counsel investigation.

Melber got him to back all most 100% off of that, For all Schlapp's bluster, he was clearly beaten on that point.

But I have to admit I don't care for him as much as I used to. The rap references are off-putting to me, as is the weekly "Fall Back Friday."

I will still watch him, but not as intently as before. Also, I find I really like him better as a guest on other shows. I agree about his "Throwback Fridays", too. Lately, those segments leave me feeling a bit alienated..like I am not nearly 'hip' enough to 'get' it.
