What a wimpy interview with that American goose stepper shlapp
I guess it is important to have lovefest with people who misrepresent facts, such as when schlapp said the senate said there was no evidence of conclusion Ari says your right lets move on im paraphrasing

(9,670 posts)Not much anyone can do with a guest like that except nod your head, stay pleasant, and get them the fuck off your show.
My god, these people drag the stench of a cesspool to your neighborhood when they leave Foxlandia.

Manafort giving polling data to Kilimnic was more OBVIOUS COLLUSION.

(115,683 posts)and then kept re-running parts of the interview on subsequent programs as if Corsi was such a great "get." And then today he has that megadouche Matt Schlapp - had to change channels at that point. Another annoying thing is when he tries too hard to be the totally with-it guy with his rapper guests, kind of like the "cool" dad in the neighborhood who wants to hang with his teenage kids and their friends so he tries to talk about them about their favorite music but just comes across as clueless and dorky.

Yes Ari,... give the Nazi Fascists equal time,.. Fascists have earned a place at the media table so they can contort and distort the truth, then fabricate and lie to defend dear Fuehrer some more.
Like the Fux Gnuz and Right Wing propaganda machine is not sufficient to spread their anti-American message.

Christ, a journalist, talking-head, whatever you call these people, doesnt have to call guests a liar, especially if it is clear they are. Nor should they only bring in interviewees that say what we want.

(312 posts)Per Wikipedia, "Matthew Aaron "Matt" Schlapp is an American political activist and lobbyist who is chairman of the American Conservative Union, the oldest conservative lobbying organization in the country. Schlapp also serves as principal at the lobbying firm Cove Strategies."
Why that qualifies him to come on Ari's show and spew out of his pie-hole beats the hell out of me.
In the process, he tried to vastly limit (through his own words) the purview of the Special Counsel.
Anyone wanting to now the true jurisdiction should look at the appointment letter by Rosenstein.
[link:https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/3726408-Rosenstein-letter-appointing-Mueller-special.html|
As this states, the scope of the Special Counsel's mandate extends to:
(i) any links an or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and
(ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly om the investigation; and
(iii) any other matters within the scope of 28 C.F.R. § 600.4(a).
We all better get better at calling foul when these useful idiots spread disinformation.

(6,085 posts)He loves having the wingers on his show so he can show us how brilliant he can interview them but all they do is spew their shit and walk all over him. He fancies himself a top notch lawyer and yes, a great rapper.
God, MSNBC take him and Kornacke the fuck off the air.

(67,798 posts)The point was Schlapp's saying that Barr was going to end the Special Counsel investigation.
Melber got him to back all most 100% off of that, For all Schlapp's bluster, he was clearly beaten on that point.

(edited to add)
I will still watch him, but not as intently as before. Also, I find I really like him better as a guest on other shows. I agree about his "Throwback Fridays", too. Lately, those segments leave me feeling a bit alienated..like I am not nearly 'hip' enough to 'get' it.
