From day one, her job has been to defend the indefensible. And she does that job by out-talking whoever challenges her.
She knows how to memorize the talking points de jour, and spew them when given an opportunity to do so. She is incredibly adept at changing the subject, and veering off into complete bullshit.
She plays the vacuous right-winger with passion – she knows that no one believes what she says, other than those who will literally believe anything.
Kellyanne is a political whore – and I don’t say that in a derogatory way. She knows which side of her bread is the buttered side, and she’s more than content to cash her substantial paycheque – and whether she’s hated, reviled, and/or dismissed by liberals as a whore is of no consequence. She chose the world’s oldest profession to make money, and she’s raking it in without a second thought.
I’ve never made the mistake of thinking Kellyanne is actually a Trump supporter. He’s merely a meal ticket, and she is hungry for the fame her current position has brought her.
Let’s remember how anti-Trump Kellyanne was when she was on Ted Cruz’s team – and how quickly she changed her tune when self-serving opportunity knocked. Despite being the punchline to every dumb blonde joke, she’s smart enough to know who’s willing to pay her the big bucks to make a complete idiot of herself.
In the end, Kellyanne is just another bull-shitter – but she knows how Republican voters are more than willing to be bull-shitted. That is her talent – and she has put that talent to good use.
I despise the fact that Kellyanne is willing to sell her own country out by defending a “pResident” who is clearly a Russian asset. But her skill at doing so shouldn’t be underestimated. She is very good at defending the John who leaves cash on the bureau – and will continue to do so as long as the money keeps rolling in.
Kellyanne Conway is not evil personified. She’s just another opportunist who is willing to go-along-to-get-along for the hundred dollar bills that get tucked into her thong every time she opens her lying mouth.
