Depending on the cult, it also gives one lots of time to do some child molestation, laying-on-of-hands with parishioners' wives, general perversions - all in the name of JC.

(58,785 posts)still governed by the Constitution. Even when we have good government in control in DC they're reluctant to intervene in state elections, though. This is hardly the first era or state in which massive election theft has occurred, to put it mildly. Election theft this blatant has become shocking, and that's a good sign. Need to keep it that way.

(31,261 posts)Maybe not perfect, but it is largely working. If it was not a democracy, the scumbag would already be in Washington and nothing would have been done.

(10,842 posts)reduced Harris Sr to tears. I love when evangelicals cry!
Actually from what I read, Harris' son did the brave, honest thing: he told the truth. His father and campaign manager were warned numerous times about Dowless' hinky past and both ignored the warning. He added at the end that he loved his parents and was not trying to shaft them, but that ultimately they believed what they wanted to believe. Even when solid evidence to the contrary was provided.
This election needs to be tossed!

(155 posts)It looks like that there has been several felonies committed by the Harris campaign which should be enough to nullify the election. However, a new election seems unfair to the Democrat challenger. It is not possible to reproduce the same type of turnouts and atmosphere that occurred in 2018 with the Blue Wave. The election win should be given to the Democrat, and he is seated in the House. This is only the fair outcome because it is likely he would have won the election.

(21,946 posts)Because the republican cheated, he won. If he hadn't cheated, the Dem would have won. Give the election to the standing candidate.
Don't let cheating pay.

(24,773 posts)To be fair, Preacher Scammer Harris also "defeated" former Rep. Pittinger (R-NC) in the primaries by dubious means, too, possibly by the same absentee ballot fraud. Pittinger was also possibly cheated, so a complete do-over would be the fair solution to this crime--coupled by Scammer Harris going to jail.

(16,887 posts)He followed the law and told the truth, even from the beginning to his father.
I don't know if his son is a lawyer, but his son knew that lying to protect his father would be a crime.
The father should have expected no less and thankfully John Harris did the right thing. It must have been gut-wrenching for John Harris.
Mark Harris did this and shame on him if he expected his son to lie. He ignored his sons advice and still chose to hire McCrae Dowless KNOWING he did criminal shady activities that were in violation of the law and cheated voters.
