as long as the republicans don't embarrass trump. Trump manages to embarrass himself everyday on his own.

Transferring the congressional power to allocate where money goes from the House to the president is the act of cowards. The Repugs are not just revealing their undying loyalty (or fear) to Fat Donnie, they are demonstrating how gutless they are as a party. The party of "we believe in the Constitution" will have become the party of "whatever the Don says, man." This goes way beyond putting party above country -- it's putting Trump's whims above the entire world.

Future high school students will be taught, "The United States government is comprised of three branches, but the only one that matters is Donald Trump."

I once took a tour of the capitol building in Montevideo, Uruguauy. As our guide showed us the opulemt legislative chamber he explained, "This is where the legistature met. Of course, because the president has named himself dictator it is no longer used.

I wonder if they'll close down our Congress now? The Capitol would make a great condo complex.
