Mueller requested Manafort sentencing doc be sealed (granted), ordered to file redacted public view

Chris Geidner @chrisgeidner
JUST IN: Mueller's office did on Friday request to file its sentencing memo under seal in Manafort's case. Judge Amy Berman Jackson has granted that request and ordered Mueller's office to file a redacted version on the public docket.

I'll be curious to get a sense of what they are redacting Jarqui Feb 2019 #2
Why under seal? Clearly to protect ongoing criminal investigations of others. triron Feb 2019 #3

If it is sensitive intelligence, that's one thing.

If it is to protect the information from others to be indicted, that will make me wonder how close Mueller is to really wrapping up.

They appear to have recovered volumes of information from search warrants of Roger Stone - including many hard drives. How could they process that quickly?

Michael Cohen has come forward with more stuff and he's about to testify to the intelligence committee.

They're still wrangling with that foreign company to get evidence. It's murky how far they got with Deutsche bank which is critical for them to be able to "follow the money"

I do not understand how this could wrap up shortly. Maybe he's passing the ball to other prosecutors as he heads out the door ...

Now who do you think that might be? Mueller is not nearly done imo.
