Media in a disgusting feeding frenzy over NK summit

They never provided Real President Obama with this kind of coverage for his summits. They really are tools of the dotard.

Glor, Holt, Muir all on the ground there? WTF? I could understand the first time maybe. Brian Williams will be on air covering this all night tomorrow, it’s been announced. Morning show split editions like GMA and Today. Hallie Jackson’s show on MSNBC split as well. Read that Morning Joe will have massive blowout coverage as well.

Important: Holt IS A CONFIRMED registered Republican.

Media truly does love their Dotard sooo much don’t they?!

Think of all the advertising bucks they could pull in from broadcasting that shindig.

Like another major fuckup.

Remember, when Obama met foreign leaders things went smoothly and the, usually boring, results of the meetings were reported in due course.

Here we have a fucking idiot meeting a brutal dictator for no particular reason and it's anyone's guess how it will go.

Theater. It's all theater.

I understand that likely nothing will come of it because both Trump and Kim are lying maniacal idiots, but it is unfortunately a major event.

The frustration is likely in how it is covered. There is likely no substance but unless they both take out their dicks and sword fight with them, it will be called a diplomatic achievement which we know is bullshit.

Unfortunately what the media likes is ratings and Trump provides ratings and a summit with North Korea provides ratings.

They should cover it because a summit has potential, but they seem to really be invested in reporting ANY victory for Trump. I wouldn't mind the coverage if they reported accurately. Like in the last summit, Trump gave North Korea credibility and the US received nothing in return. Trump knows little to nothing about negotiations and Kim is likely to eat his lunch, go back to North Korea and brag about the recognition he got, and not have to produce anything. Trump being so afraid of losing face, will say nothing and do nothing that would indicate that he failed.

I am not sure what the fix is. News being a corporate money maker means that we will be in this paradigm for some time, until something changes.
