It was reported in a couple of places that he arrived in Hanoi ahead of the Trump/Kim "summit"...

I hope some reporter is able to follow his whereabouts?

And why would he be there?

Did he bring advice and orders from Putin?

6. Lavrov is one of Trumpy's handlers. That's why he's in Hanoi.

He's communicating through intermediaries. That's how it's done. But he's in Hanoi to pressure Trumpy to tow the party line-- Putin's Party Line.

Trumpy's brazen sell-out to Putin is so visible and obvious that were this arrangement embedded in a movie script, it wouldn't get beyond the talent agent or the trash can. It stinks of naivete and ham-handedness. Who would buy this shit? No one. Yet it's happening in (somewhat) real life.

The reason that Trumpy gets to kiss Putin's ass on a daily basis is the support both of them get from the GOP. Yep, the Republican Party clearly approves of Putin being in charge. They have no problem with Trumpy being a Russian agent because they have no problem with Russian money laundering, Russian money going to Republican campaign funds, and Russian kompromat on GOP politicians. And they have no problem with Trumpy's tactics of intimidation and lying. None. They're all in.
