Cohen and his fate should serve as a warning to Trump's GOP apologists.

He said as much. Cohen got seduced and sucked in by Trump's apparent money and show biz glamor and ended up blindly loyal to someone who didn't deserve loyalty. Trump is a sociopath and he knows how to lure people, especially weak people who want a bit of that power, into his orbit - and then discards them when he no longer needs them. Cohen tried in so many words to tell them that what happened to him could happen other Trump supporters. The reputations of others who have worked for Trump have already been ruined. "My loyalty to Trump has cost me everything," Cohen said. GOPers should be forewarned. But so far it doesn't seem like they're listening.

They will all claim "I wasn't really with him, I just wanted the judges" or some such nonsense.

Thankfully there will be video of a few of them from occasions like today. We can hope that's enough to beat gerrymandering and sway voters to give them the boot.
