Ted Lieu is actually telling US intel agencies to refuse giving Jared Kushner any intelligence information. That's crazy and obviously absolutely necessary.

Career security clearance professionals believed Jared Kushner was enough of a national security risk that he should not get a top secret clearance.

3. There are more than a few things about the office of the Presidency that obviously need to be fixed.

Unfortunately at present, Trump has the authority to grant clearance to anyone he wishes. Kushner will continue to receive classified information until he, Trump, or both are ejected from the White House.

Until Carl Klein was appointed apparently just to give him clearance over everyone's head. Lawrence O'Donnell was just reporting on this and showed footage of Trump lying when he was asked about this by reporters. He said he wasn't involved and didn't think he'd "have the authority" to do that anyway.
