Hannity just set himself up to be subpoenaed as a witness on the hush-money payments

The subject line refers to a tweet from former federal (SDNY) prosecutor Mimi Rocah, who says the SDNY should subpoena Hannity, but to explain why she said that, first I have to post this tweet from a WSJ reporter:

Rebecca Ballhaus:

Sean Hannity to Trump in tonight’s interview, on Michael Cohen and the hush-money payments: “I can tell you personally, he said to me at least a dozen times, that he made the decision on the payments and he didn’t tell you.”

Rocah's comment:

Right, and then Trump paid Cohen back anyway because he’s such a nice guy. SDNY should subpoena Hannity. No Attorney-client priv here & he didn’t learn this in his capacity as a “journalist.”

Another tweet from a journalist, this one from CNN's Manu Raju, giving Trump's comment on this new fiction:

Trump tries to claim the hush-money payments were Cohen’s doing - not his, telling Hannity: “He did and he made the decision. Remember this, he’s an attorney - whatever decision he makes, you’re supposed to rely on your attorney to make a decision. ... It’s also called reliance.”

Editing to add a tweet from Aaron Rupar with video of Hannity saying this:

Editing again to add another tweet, this one from Yashar Ali, about the House Oversight Committee's interest in this:

I've spoken with three Democratic members of House Oversight in past 30 minutes. All were stunned (but not surprised) that @seanhannity would open himself up this way. All of them would like to see him hauled before the committee but of course that's up to @RepCummings.

of Hannity getting squashed by the destruction of the Trump administration is just too much enlightenment for me - but I'm gonna' enjoy it for every single second!

You're going down, pretty boy. Enjoy the ride!

russians have been using talk radio gods for a decade at least and dems need to ask the right questions to get there

the assumption was the hannity cohen relationship was about hannity girlfriends but there was real estate involved. was cohen paying them for support in 2016 primaries vs GOP establishment candidates rubio and bush? republican base needs to know. was it laundered/russian real estate money?

russians have been using talk radio for at least since 2008, with limbaugh forcing palin on mccain

That will prevent bullshit grandstanding from him and his GOP buddies.

Or better, just have SDNY do it.

So how long will it be before Hannity is subpoena'd,
and indicted? Not too long! Thanks for running your mouth!

Except maybe Hannity in jail. Is it possible?
