Kushner fails to secure U.S. arms deal with Turkey. Turkey chooses Russian made arms instead.

Turkey Rejects Latest U.S. Offer to Sell Patriot Missiles

Turkey has rejected a U.S. proposal to deliver one Patriot missile defense system by the end of 2019, which was conditional on Ankara abandoning a deal with Russia that’s strained ties between the NATO allies, two senior Turkish officials said on Friday.

The U.S. administration made its offer before Feb. 15, and then increased the price of the multi-billion dollar system in return for quick delivery, according to the officials who are familiar with the talks but not authorized to speak to the media.

Turkey expects the first S-400 delivery in July. Russia has promised Turkey joint production and technology transfer as part of the agreement. Turkey’s determination to buy Russian missiles has fueled demands in the U.S. that planned supplies of F-35 jets be put on hold even though portions of the Lockheed Martin Co. fighter are being built in Turkey.

I hate being a conspiracy theorist but these people have sent me around the bend. Nothing I dream up seems to be outside the realm of possibility.

That's exactly what I was thinking 🤔

US farmers are taking a beating thanks to tariff-in-chief 🙄

The ruskies are looking good though

China Buys Record Amount of Russian Soy as It Shuns U.S. Growers.

China, the world’s biggest soybean importer, almost tripled purchases from Russia amid a trade dispute with the U.S., the biggest producer.

Russia sold about 850,000 metric tons of soybeans to China from the start of the 12-month season in July through mid-May, according to Russia’s agriculture agency Rosselkhoznadzor. That’s more than during any season before and compares with about 340,000 tons sold during all of the previous period, Chinese customs data show.

China has already canceled several shipments from the U.S. in anticipation of tariffs on the country’s products. While Brazil is expected to take much of that market share, Russia is also benefiting.

Russian supplies make up less than 1 percent of the 97 million tons of soybeans that China is set to buy overseas this season, U.S. government data show. Russia is a net importer of the oilseed, the data show.

Russian soybean plantings in the far east, the region nearest China, will probably remain little changed during the next season, at about 1.4 million hectares, said Daniil Khotko, an analyst at the Institute for Agricultural Market Studies, or IKAR, in Moscow. They may expand by as much as 20 percent during the next two to three years, he said.

Kushner probably worships Milo Minderbinder. He'll sell anything to anybody as long as it makes money for himself.

So, one of our NATO partners turns its back on us to buy from Russia. I'm not sure, but does this type of thing happen all the time? Where a member of NATO buys its weapons from, of all countries, RUSSIA??
