Biographer: 'People Will Be Shocked' at How Poor Trump Is

During his testimony before the House Oversight Committee, Donald Trump’s former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, observed, “It was my experience that Mr. Trump inflated his total assets when it served his purposes.”

And when author David Cay Johnston appeared on CNN this morning he explained why the attorney’s statement on Trump’s finances was quite accurate—and why Trump isn’t as wealthy as he would have people believe.

Johnston recalled, “I revealed in 1990 that he wasn’t a billionaire, and Donald called me a liar until he had to put in the record documents showing he had a negative net worth of almost $300 million.”

Johnston told CNN’s Alisyn Camerota that exaggerating his net worth is nothing new for The Donald, basically confirming everything Cohen said earlier this week. - PoliticusUSA

A negative net worth? Hell, I'm worth more on paper than the person acting as the POTUS!

there was a book written by a financial expert called Trump Nation that calculated Donny to be worth $150 million to $250 million. Trump sued the guy for defamation and the suit was tossed out of court.

Trump sued him and Trump had to be deposed, in the deposition what asked how much he was worth ( which was th ewhole question of the lawsuit, right?) he hemmed and hawed and finally answered..."depends on what mood I am in on any given day".

the video is around the web somewhere, I have watched it.

If things turn really bleak for him, seriously enough that he finds himself about to face some REALLY bad - um - “music” shall we say, I can’t help but suspect trump will try to disappear in the middle of the night. Some late night with no moon when an unmarked helicopter lands on the South Lawn and a handful of shadowy figures run, stooping low to avoid the chopper blades (and maybe an inquiring mind or two), toward the helicopter and climb aboard. And their getaway vehicle rises up and heads off into the darkness.

No warning, no heads-up, no nothing. It’d be trump, Melanie, Ivanka, Jared, and maybe also their kids. I doubt the hapless Junior or third-wheel Eric would be included. Even taking Ivanka’s kids is pushing it. The donald would want to keep the number of evacuees down so they’re easier to move. He’d mostly want to save Ivanka. I think we ALL suspect why. But unfortunately she’d probably insist on NOT leaving her husband and kids behind.

The chopper would escape to maybe somewhere in the Caribbean - depending on how much fuel it can carry. They’d need to change to a private jet to get where they really need to go - like the Crimea or Saudi Arabia or some such. Their murderous friend the Saudi prince might give them asylum, or his friend Vladimir, except by then, ol’ Vlad probably wouldn’t want to bother with him anymore, wisely figuring his little American Asset wouldn’t be worth much to him anymore.

Meanwhile back at the scene of the breakout, a couple of hours might elapse before some White House staffers or maybe the White House housekeeping staff would suddenly realize that nobody can find the pResident. OR the First Lady. And all over town, also in New York City AND New Jersey, and down in Florida, near Mar-a-lago, reporters’ phones would start ringing madly, waking them up, alerting them to start looking into it...

Ain't no sneaking a helicopter into that airspace.

If he does it, it'll be from one of his golf courses. On the ground until he can get out of the security no-fly zone, and the maybe a chopper.
