tells the truth. I just reread it. The bush family snuffed out the release of her book. They had that much power back then. Folks, read it.

(27,762 posts)What struck me the most reading those two books (this would have been a while ago) was that they listed many of the same events, and in one book they were treated as a positive and in the other as a negative. Strange reading experience.

(27,041 posts)One thing I remember about it is how the Reagans looked down on the Bushes. The Bushes were authentic Greenwich bluebloods and the Reagans were just Hollywood B-movie has-beens, but they treated the Bushes like household help and rarely even invited them to the White House.

It appeared in the N.Y. Times for about two days. Then it was never written about .

When I mentioned her here I was lambasted for citing "gossip". My counter attack was the dictionary that has zero mention of "untruth" in the definition.
Then in the debut of the BUSH book she was booked for two days on Today and LAUER *SHREDDED* her the first day and from my hinterland I got through on the phone to an actual producer and shredded LSUER back. The second day the two were side by side and LAUER was perfect to her.
If anything her BUSH book was too soft.
