Trump (originally the Drumph family) found ways to survive and thrive. Drumph's grandfather was a successful barber (left NYC to return home to Bavaria and ironically deported from Bavaria despite pleas to the King, back to the US). Dad (Fred) was a "landlord" real estate etc. who also happened to be arrested at a KKK rally (WaPo). He and Donal;d convicted for landlord abuses against minorities in the biggest settlement to date in that District. Donald was schooled by a mob-lawyer who taught him the ins and outs of NY real estate and who knows what else? I guess that each story is individualistic, and not sure we can make comparisons, as the life circumstances of each is so different?
