and there is some question if Kennedy "retired" in order to get Gorsuch nominated to the SCOTUS?

Wonder if this line of questioning will lead down these dark and winding alleys.

Good story at: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/anthony-kennedy-resignation-trump/

The sub headline of your good story could have been, 'Did Justice Kennedy cut a trump engineered deal [fits trump perfectly], to resign from the Court to protect his son'?

The timing for this is better than in the past s Deutsch is providing information to Congress, - and investigations are cross-fertilizing at an icreasing rate.

Just the publicity puts more pressure on the Robert's Robber Baron Court.

...they could take the assets if he didn't pay. And given Dump's lack of choices of lenders, they had him by the balls. Now as President, he could actually "maneuver" the laws to his favor...I'm betting they didn't like that, hence, their cooperation.

How many times have we heard pronouncements that this, that, or the other reported development is a big deal, a game changer, the beginning of the end, etc....

The cold, hard reality is that we don't know -- and more often than not the ones making the pronouncements don't know-- how legally significant the latest revelation, or reported/rumored revelation, actually is.

Its understandable, but unfortunate, that folks have been buying into the rumor factory surrounding investigations of Trump. Anyone still believe the breathless reports that Louise and Claude were making nearly two years ago?

Patience is a virtue.
