@realDonaldTrump
For the Democrats to interview in open hearings a convicted liar & fraudster, at the same time as the very important Nuclear Summit with North Korea, is perhaps a new low in American politics and may have contributed to the walk. Never done when a president is overseas. Shame!

(3,322 posts)If Cohen's testimony helped in some way for Trump NOT to give away the store in a bad Nuke deal with NK then thanks are in order.

(7,849 posts)this "summit" was supposed to distract from the Cohen testimony...split screen, remember...except there was no split screen just Cohen dominating the news...must have really pissed Trump off...look at me look at me...but no one was looking...

Also on a teevee near you on March 14, this guy you never hardly heard of, FELIX SATER and also making a special appearance that day, your deeply slimey buddy, WILBUR ROSS

(20,629 posts)decent night's sleep, awakening to the news on NPR describing the collapse of the talks. I said that he was in a hurry to get back on his executive time schedule so he can send out his customary "mean tweets" about Michael Cohen!

(30,811 posts)The N Korea talks were meant to be a big, splashy distraction. In Trump's mind, a big 'deal', end the Korean War, Peace Prize material, all that.
Instead, it was boring and predictable (except that it was predictable that it would be boring), and Cohen's testimony was riveting.
Trump then acted like the spoiled child that he is.
