Close to 22 Trillion in debt - What could have been?

I'm wondering today (rarely do I go into the economic wasteland) what we could have done with that 22 trillion if we were a socialist country. Now it's disappeared and we are left with the debt, but what could have been with all that money - schools, medical care, etc.

... it's in the bank accounts of the one-per-centers. All we have to do is start taxing them to get it back.

The result was the longest economic expansion in U.S. history.

For those who doubt, I provided a link.

Thanks Lochloosa!
