Need help with Debate Moderator Questions for Romney, please

Going to send a list to Leher, Crowley, & Schieffer, certified mail, on 9/1.

What we are shooting for is :

--Respectful

--Non-open ended

--Anticipate what he might say, and add follow-up.


Example:

QUESTION: "Mr. Romney, given that your financials show you have money in accounts in other countries, could you please tell us why it wouldn't be better to keep the money in the U.S. where it could be reinvested in loans to Americans?"

POSSIBLE RESPONSE: "Well, there is nothing illegal about it, the law says its ok. Besides, much of the money is in a blind trust which I have not control over."

FOLLOW-UP: " Yes, understand that, but do you think it's fair? and would you move to change the tax laws so that it's not advantageous to do it?

Yes it is! Seriously though, I would like a question about if the candidates are going to do anything about gun violence at all - I think I signed a petition for that. I'm not sure how they would respond since no one wants to touch the issue.
