To those mad at Nancy Pelosi - put on your thinking caps.

Do NOT react to what she said with emotion. Trump and the GOP win when we do - when we attack our own.

Think about why she said it. Is it because she wants him to remain president? No.

Is it because she wants to make Democrats mad at her? No.

Is it because she wants to rob Trump of the Big Fight that he's itching to have? Yes.

I am confident she knows what she's doing. Using the words "it isn't worth it" is an injury to Trump's ego.

Think.

Trump Sr, Jr., Eric and/or Ivanka have committed any felony bank fraud or felony insurance fraud AFTER he took the oath of office. If any of the crimes has a statute of limitation of 10 years then there is no way for them to run out the clock by having him stay in the WH (legitimately or illegitimately). If Democrats can maintain control of the House they need to keep demanding his tax returns to see if there are tax evasion crimes as well which would keep the door open to any States where he is required to file going after them for state tax crimes as well.

This is a family who is totally incapable of keeping their hands clean. By running for President, Trump has overturned the rock under which they all hide and they will never be able to hide their crimes again. I prefer to be optimistic that it is only a matter of time before they face criminal charges.

While I would love to see them booted out of the WH, I would rather see them rot in prison. I want to see them totally ruined personally and financially.

That's what got us in trouble the last time around.

I do appreciate your enthusiasm though. Just that we gotta keep the pedal to the metal and avoid overconfidence about anything in 2020.

Re: impeachment. It's a mistake to say it's off the table -- again. Better to just be silent by way of simply saying we'll wait and see what Mueller comes up with.

We have one shot at impeachment. If he is not convincted, we will have failed.

Republicans May get on board after the Mueller Report. Just as they got on board at the last minute re Nixon.

Pelosi is thinking strategically, she knows the Nixon moment may come for Republicans. But it hasn’t happened yet.

If we do either of those, Chump is done like an overcooked steak. Once that happens, Nancy Pelosi will change her narrative to fit the new circumstances. If we can't win either the WH or Senate next year, there's no reason to talk about impeachment because it will never happen.

Let's get to work and elect Democrats to the Senate! Better yet, let's kick Chump out of the White house.

Trump wants to be impeached so he can win the Senate trial. He wants this fight. So I like the tactic of grinding him down to a stump.

The committee hearings is why I worked hard for Dem victories in Congress. We did great in the House and well in the Senate. Committee work is the plum and they've just begun. Buy popcorn. Find patience. Politics is a slog unless you hold both houses of Congress.

His biggest fear is public humiliation and embarrassment, that is something that the Democrats can give him in spades.

I want him tied right around all of the necks of the Rethugs in Congress to let him drag them all down. 2020 needs to be 2018 but on steroids for the Democrats.

To paraphrase Grove Norquist, we don't want the Republican Party to shrink to a size that we can drown in the bathtub. We want to be able to flush them down the toilet to the sewer where they belong.

If we impeached right now it would fail and we'd blow our chances to impeach after Mueller's report is out.

Once Mueller's report is out, assuming it claims evidence that Trump committed crimes, then the impeachment talk can begin.

If the report finds no evidence of Trump directly committing crimes then impeachment would be purely symbolic and would support Trump's witch hunt claim so would be counter productive anyway.

Right now it's a waste of time and a waste of an impeachment.

I want him gone but do NOT want a martyr trump running in 2020.

I want investigations to never end, and hopefully the media will get through to that part of the electorate who are not in trump's thrall, which is enough of them to defeat him then.

Just take the Manafort sentencing as an example of how things don't always go as you'd like them to. Trump would capitalize on being impeached. He'd be the greatest "victim" ever and Fox would run with it. Heck they already are and the Dems have just gotten started.

He truly isn't worth it.

opinion is OBVIOUSLY a non-thinker. Who'd have thought of thinking before deciding how one feels about impeachment? But, when you stop and think about it, it's only natural that people who don't think would not think of thinking, amiright?

So, it seems that those who do not agree with our Speaker and her supporters just didn't think of thinking because they're non-thinkers.

Who'd a thunk?
