A Georgia State Democrat proposed a bill in the Georgia Legislature banning Vasectomies, men MUST seek the approval of of their partners for any Erectile Dysfunction medications, have a 24 hour waiting period for buying sex toys and porn.
GEORGIA Democrat Dar'shun Kendrick brought up this proposal in the Legislature in response to the restrictive Abortion bills. That if women's sexual lives and bodies are to be CONTROLLED, men should get the same treatment. Rep. Kendrick also has in her Tetesticular Bil of Rights proposal that any woman pregnant, the man must begin to pay child support once pregnancy has been confirmed via DNA testing to determine paternity. Sex without a condom be deemed "aggrivated assault".
Talk about fair play here, folks. Very interesting read.....

(7,531 posts)If they're going to insist "life starts at..." then the paternal father should be on the hook from the get-go.
I'd also suggest that in states which restrict abortion rights, sexual health education, and family planning facilities that feel they can take choice away from a mother that all medical care for pregnancy and delivery be covered by the government 100%. If a state and its politicians are so aggressively pro-life, then they should also be "pro-birth" and financially on the hook as co-baby-daddy.

(17,600 posts)I think that child support clause should be attached to any bill declaring the "life begins at conception" nonsense or requiring paternal approval of abortions. The anti-abortion stuff is complete bullshit but may as well try to get something worthwhile and logical out of it if the state is so backward as to pass the garbage anyway.

(6,557 posts)It is only fair and right! I especially like the child support beginning as soon as the pregnancy is confirmed. I also like the state providing 100% of the mother's healthcare free of charge! It is about time that the man bears some financial responsibility for the conception and raising of any child they father. Equality at it's best IMO.
