This is in regards to Pelosi's recent comments on impeachment of trump.
I know a lot of people are trying to focus on the word "unless" as a way to show there is still a possibility of it happening but it would have been better for everyone if she had, at the very least, left it a lot more obviously open ended.
It would have been better to say:
"we are still reviewing the evidence and we will take that wherever it leads".
But now we've left the door open for trump and others to use those words against us. "Even Pelosi knows there is no collusion" I can see those words coming out of his mouth since Pelosi said that.
Nothing good comes out of this. Not to mention that it reinforces the perspective that nothing will come of any of this and trump will just get away with everything. Its painful to watch.
The House has been on a roll lately but the perception is that as the WH has rejected information requests and there seems to be no desire to question the trump children.
I hope I'm wrong. I really do. I guess time will tell.

"We've requested an open hearing w _______, it's set for October of this year." Or some such shit. Constantly pushing the time window way out. I think it's a good time to turn off the tv completely. Nothing you cant see on Netflix, etc. Screw it.
THEN, when the time comes, it'll be changed to a closed hearing anyway. And the news will talk about it everyday for the next 6 months. If our representatives aren't bothered too much about any of this, there's absolutely ZERO reason I should be. It's aggravating.
PS...wasn't the Blue Wave founded on the idea that we were going to impeach trump? That's what I thought when I voted and worked to get others to vote too. Better remember that Congress, when you're tempted to let him off the hook.
